I’m so glad you’re here. Prioritizing your well-being, self-care, and personal growth is a powerful step, and I’m honored that you’re considering letting me be a part of it.
In today’s society, there is a harmful notion that equates health with thinness. I want to be clear that I reject this simplistic and damaging view. I recognize the roots of diet culture in social conformity and discrimination and apologize for any role I may have played in perpetuating these harmful norms. Although my practice is guided by evidence-based science, I understand that the health field is still predominantly shaped by white, cis-gendered, and male perspectives. This lack of diversity has led to significant gaps in research, understanding, and empathy. I am dedicated to staying informed, challenging outdated beliefs, and advocating for a more inclusive approach to health.
I understand that health is deeply personal, and each of us comes with our own unique set of experiences, challenges, and goals. If you are living in a larger body, know that I am committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for you. As a white, cis-gendered woman in a smaller body, I acknowledge my privilege and understand that my experiences differ from those facing other challenges and forms of discrimination. It is not your job to educate me; it is my responsibility to listen, learn, and grow in understanding.
Health is not a one-size-fits-all concept, and well-being cannot be measured by numbers alone. Whether you are dealing with body image concerns, managing specific health conditions, or seeking positive change, my goal is to meet you where you are and honor your individual journey.
I strive to challenge my own biases, listen deeply, and ensure my practice is a place where you feel valued and respected exactly as you are.
